That is because the mesh lining inside these athletic boots won�t impede air flow. Hot air can leave, and cool air can get inside. Natural air keeps skin dryer and more comfortable no matter how hard you�re working.

But when you are working hard, it helps to stay comfortable as well as cool. That�s why these Bates boots are built with dual-density cushioned inserts that absorb impact and softens your stride. Two layers of cushioning make shock work twice as hard before it can get to your feet and legs. EVA foam adds lightweight impact-absorption to the midsole layer of these black boots, so shock has an even tougher job ahead of it.

Durable rubber outsoles create the base of each shoe. Rubber�s natural bouncy properties and firm shock-resistance give you the perfect amount of support when you wear these non-metallic boots. The tread is slip-resistant to keep your steps a little steadier on wet floors, ice and other walking hazards. The soles are secured to the leather and mesh uppers with glued cement construction. Because the soles are glued right to the uppers of these V Frame boots, the construction creates a weather-resistant seal all the way around your steps.

TPU arch support was integrated right into the soles. Lightweight thermoplastic polyurethane, a type of plastic, adds support but not weight. It gently follows the natural curve of your feet to keep arches lifted, so your muscle have less work to do every time you take a step while wearing these men�s boots.
